Ring Bolt 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon

Tonight we tried an Australian cabernet from the Margaret River region. The label describes it thus: "aromas of mulberries intermingle with chocolate and a gentle infusion of violets. On the palate a subtle oak influence complements soft blackberry and mulberry flavors."

Nick says: lightly sweet with mineral bitterness; overall smooth finish; medium body with moderate tannins. Rating 4/5

Lindsay says: Nice deep garnet color, medium body; strong fruity aroma but dry in the mouth with some tannins; berry and plum flavors. I'm not getting the chocolate - darn! Rating 3/5
